Five - Breakin' the rule of the shoe meme

I was tagged to do the shoe meme by Zilla. Here goes...

Ok. I hate shoes. I'm certainly not one of those women who has 50 pair. If I had my druthers, I would go barefoot. Rocks, hot black top, and the fact I have to, keep me from doing so. I had to use 5 pairs because these are the shoes I wear.

The two pair of sandals I have, I love and wear the most. Those little black hippie sandals are my very favoritist. Love 'em, love 'em, love 'em. They are so comfortable. I love shoes that you can just slip on and off whenever. GOT to be able to relax when you need to. I kick 'em off in the car, at home, and at work when I'm at my desk. This is a MUST in a pair of Becky shoes. I suppose it's because I always feel lazy. However, this does not apply for my Adidas tennis shoes and Harley boots. Sometimes you have to have shoes for utility purposes only. Need my boots for riding and my Adidas for walking.

My Eastlands clogs, I wear them the least. I suppose I may wear them more this winter. I bought them because, of course, they looked comfortable, felt comfortable, and they slip on and off (a must), and were on sale. This is another must for me because I'm cheap, I mean frugal. Oh how I enjoy gettin' a bargain. It's a great feeling.

The most secret part of me revealed by my shoes? I guess that I'm lazy and I feel a little euphoric when I find a bargain.

Truly, I have no secret self, my life is an open book! I'm going to tag Lori for the shoe meme. Do not get this confused with the Champion Tag Team psychedelic, tie die, ribbon winning Lori and Becky tag, this is a shoe meme tag. I think Lori will play.

I'm like you in that I prefer the leisurely nature of bare-footed-ness, however I'm different in that I LOVE shoes as well... even though I don't always wear them :o)

then again, I must wear them when out in the world (no shirt, no shoes, no business), which makes shoes a necessity.

but if I'm home, I'm barefoot.
I'm barefoot right now :o)

A strait-forward, what-you-see-is-what-you-get-type girl: cool. I saw the subject of this post, and went ahh! But surprisingly, the way you described what it was that drew you to the shoe, or the purpose that it held, lead me along until the end, leaving a pleasant-read after image on the retina of my mind's eye.

How about a new little post toasty posty?

You gonna give us one or am I going to be forced to suggest one?

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

You know you HATE it when I do that.

I love you though, all of you, all the time, no matter what, even when you tell folks about the gym class I had to take in college with the greek god type coach, and the panty liner. (Turd)

Man I think I almost had heat stroke yesterday. Monday I am wearing my swim suit and bringing a hose. See the way I see it, if I puke and pass out from heat stroke those kids are going to draw all over me...so I have no alternative, I must protect myself...

Poor Lori! I don't see how you can take it! I'm thinking about going out and buying you an air conditioner...Better yet, we should have a jar by all the businesses' cash registers for donations.

Oh and, I don't want hear about the gym class thing. You told everyone about my pimple in my ear and I was forced to write about it.

In Becky's defense, I must tell you that she probably told me that panty liner story a long time ago, and I just forgot it. So really, it's my fault she had to tell it to me again, at a time when she can share it with the rest of the blogosphere. Which I've mirthfully encouraged her to do! :) hee hee hee. I'm so bad, Lori. I actually encouraged her to post about it in an audio post. Because, at the one part of the story, where you fall down on the ground moaning, Becky just sounds so freaking funny doing "you". :) It's super duper funny. Sorry, Lori. I don't mean to laugh at your pain, and yet, it's funny and I just can't help it!

Love you more than the fat kid loves cake,
hoo :)

I like shoes..but really particular. I don't like all the latest ones that make me 12 feet tall. I'm too clumsy. But like you, I love a bargain!

Beck, Kelley posted her love story, it's love, true love, squoze some tears out of me...it did.

Holly, no problem honey, it is a funny story, and Becky is being kind, not only was I moaning I was crying, like the big ol' wussy girl that I am. How humiliating, I may have to tell that story sometime... xx, Lori

Becky! I've been here twice (via dial-up) and both times I tried to leave a comment, blogger timed out and my comment was sucked into some black hole or other. Odd how even those of us who would rather be barefoot can't limit ourselves to THREE pairs of shoes! Our shoes reveal the same thing about us -- we like to slip 'em on and kick 'em off. Some might assume this means we're lazy. In truth, it means we're too busy with the IMPORTANT things in life to bother with straps and laces and buckles. Thanks for joining the meme! You forgot to tag three bloggers to play along!
