The Wizard for James

Alright, I obviously don't know what I'm doing. Click on the URL below and listen to the song that reminds me of my friend James. I hope it works! For you James!!

Try not to focus on the sexy dancing girls in the back. Just listen to the words. The song is "The Wizard" by Uriah Heep. One of my favorite bands of the seventies. Man this video is dated. It makes me feel oooold.

The words:

He was the wizard of a thousand kings.
And a chance to meet him one night wondering.
He told me tales and he drank my wine.
Me and my magic man kinda feeling fine.
He had a cloak of gold and eyes of fire.
And as he spoke I felt a deep desire to free the world of its fear and pain and help the people to feel free again.
Why don't we listen to the voices in our hearts?Cause then I know we'll find we're not so far apart.
Everybody's got to be happy, everyone should see.
For we know the joy of life and peace that love can bring.
So spoke the wizard in his mountain home.
The vision of his wisdom means we'll never be alone.
And I will dream of my magic night and the million silver stars that guide me with their light.

So when is the baby shower?

("racizth" is my word verification. I swear it's not true. But I do happen to believe Bencio Del Torro turned into Terence Howard. That's not racizth, is it?)

First, allow me to say that my computer is a piece of shit, old, slow, v-e-r-y s-l-o-w. And I have been deep into philosophical thought for several weeks, plus I’ve fucked up, old ass dial up, so I have to answer the phone when it rings. And then I have to start all over again, as you might observe by my reloading your blog so many times. Now that I have expended my excuses, I love this fucking song. I mean I really love it. And what’s more, I love the sentiment you have extended to me. Every feeling that I am came alive upon listening to it. Every pore stood up and worshiped the energy. I have always, in mind, been the wizard, always. Thank you my friend. Thank you so much. This is one of the coolest things ever, to me. It let’s me know that someone IS listening. And my words HAVE been heard. That someone out there really understands. My admiration, my appreciation is infinite, as I feel our friendship to be.

Sing it out loud:

“And a new day will dawn for those
who stand long.
And the forests will echo with laughter.” ~ Led Zeppelin
